Love Is In The Hair

Love is in the hair!

Are you loving your hair or is it just ok?

Is it time to spice it up a bit?

 Just in time for Valentines?

Michelle Obama went for bangs or as we say in England a fringe. The press loved it, her bangs even have a twitter account!  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/24/michelle-obamas-bangs-twitter_n_2539590.html

I wonder if Michelle was nervous to go for a change?  Most of us are.....

Remember to talk with your stylist about how you feel about your hair, as well as how you feel about your love life, kids, job, etceteras : ).  It is our job to consult with you, so that we do not run the risk of you being stuck in a hair rut.  It is your job to let us know you are ready for a change, bring in pictures from magazines or on your phone to show us what appeals to you right now, cuts, colors and styles. Together we can create a look that is just right for you!

In the meantime, here are a few window shopping fashion photo's from Brussels in the winter for you to enjoy.

What hairstyle would look good with these fun outfits?

I think they beg for a sporty look with a splash of fun hair color, what do you think?

Yep, looks like bright colors are coming this spring along with bangs and peek-a-boo splashes of color!

Talk with your stylist and go for it - I bet everyone and you will love that change in your hair!

I would like to be the biggest fundraiser for The National Breast Cancer Foundation.  I'd like to win for my younger self and every, girl and woman that has suffered a loss due to cancer, an accident or an autoimmune disease. I wrote the story below in an Autobiography writing class last fall a...

Endings and Beginnings

HairQueen News: I celebrated a big milestone, forty years of being a hairstylist and 25 years as a business owner. I was planning to completely retire but then I decided to keep the “tip of my scissors” in for a while longer. This decision means I am free to step into a new phase of life as I gradually let go of my wonderful salon career. We had a party — it was fantastic! I loved every minute. My heart overflowed as my clients, colleagues, and family helped me mark this major career milestone.                                                                                                                                              ...
