Your Fancy Do

Have you noticed we are in the full swing of the wedding, graduation, and prom season? Now is the time to plan for your fancy do.

Step 1. Call your stylist and book an appointment for a consultation.

Step 2.  Go online, look through magazines, and find images of the look you would like to achieve.

Step 3.  Bring the images with you.

What to expect at the Salon.

Step 1.  For all special occasions your stylist will want to do an in person consultation and in most cases a trial run prior to the big event.  This is particularly important for all brides and a good idea for anyone else that is nervous about the final look.

Step 2.  On the big day, your stylist will inform you of  the condition your hair should be in before you arrive. Listen to your stylist so that the process goes well and your hair is looking its best.

Step 3.  Expect to have product in your hair and lots of hairspray.

Why all this planning?

Whether you are the bride, the graduate, or a guest, planning your look for a special occasion will allow you to enjoy your event to the maximum, look amazing in photographs, and show off your look on Facebook and Instagram. Congratulations to all of you celebrating something special this season!

And btw,

I want you to know that I am experienced at special event hair styling. In fact I just did a practice session for an August bride, the daughter of one of my long time clients.  How is it possible that this young woman is getting married? She was just a little girl when I met her dad, my client, all those years ago.  I am truly honored to be the hair stylist for this family’s wedding party.  The bride and I planned her wedding style. Now we have a plan for picture perfect hair for her big day, this coming August.
